I am a painter and this my inspiration and the resource materials with which I create my work — the stories I try to tell.
My interests include: The Gods and myth; 19th century French and Russian literature and Symbolist painters; The Belle Époque and occult Europe; the history of the Habsburg empire; Imperial Russia and the Romanovs; The aristocracy of Europe; The Christian saints and western mysticism; Architecture archaic, modern and imaginary; the cannibals of Papua New Guinea; the jewelry and apparel of nomadic tribesmen; Ancient Rome, and of course the Egyptian pharaohs and their therianthropic gods.
